Pathshala is the early school of Photography in South Asia region, which offers various short-term and long-term educational Programme in photography, film and multimedia journalism throughout the year. Started in 1998, the institution has slowly grown to become a fully-fledged photography educational institution based in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Interactive Journalism & Immersive Experience

WHAT?

• Summary of the course and discussion on new technology and the key principles journalists should take to any project.
The photojournalist of today has to adapt to a dramatically altered media landscape. This course combines the still relevant core principles of the medium through hands on examples. It also introduces the possibilities of the new digital technology. It explores how photojournalism can be applied to real life situations, breaking free of the trappings of conventional publishing and distribution mechanism.

NEED CERTIFICATION?

You can either complete free courses online or you can receive certification by learning the courses for a longer period. If you like to utilise this opportunity then at first you need to register for the certification proagrmme. After completing the registration process you can attend the free video lectures which are available on our website. Based on the topics you need to submit assignments and effectively you can receive feedback on your work from the Pathshala tutors. Once you make your final submission of your assignment you will be awarded a certificate.

We are offering three sessions for taking certification and you can pick any one of the sessions of your choice. It is a three-month-long session. Registration Fee: BDT 15000. Sessions: Jan-Mar, May-July, and Sep-Nov
