The Bachelor of Photography is a four-year undergraduate degree affiliated with the University of Dhaka. The programme is designed for students who aspire to become critically engaged photographers, visual storytellers, and media practitioners equipped to navigate contemporary visual culture.
The curriculum combines theoretical inquiry with intensive practical training across documentary photography, photojournalism, studio practice, visual anthropology, media theory, publishing, exhibition making, and research methodologies. Students are encouraged to explore photography as both artistic expression and social engagement.
The programme includes field-based assignments, studio workshops, independent projects, peer critiques, and a final capstone project that reflects each student’s personal and professional vision.

Eligibility & Admission
Applicants must meet the undergraduate admission requirements set by the University of Dhaka. Candidates who have completed SSC/HSC, O/A Levels, or equivalent qualifications with the required GPA are eligible to apply.Admission is competitive and includes:

Tuition Fees
The tuition structure is designed to support a sustained four-year academic journey:· First Semester: BDT 85,000
· Second to Eighth Semester: BDT 70,000 per semester
· Total Programme Cost: BDT 575,000 (approx.)
Tuition fees may be revised by institutional and university authorities when necessary.
